How to Create a Property Listing

To create a new property listing, you'll need to access your TrueBookings admin:

• Log in to your TrueBookings account
• Navigate to your admin dashboard
• Click on the "Settings" tab in the navigation
• Fill out all required information under the different tabs

Start by filling out the essential property details in the "Basic Info" section:

• Property Name: Choose a catchy, descriptive title (e.g., "Cozy Mountain Cabin with Hot Tub")
• Property Type: Select from house, apartment, cabin, villa, etc.
• Location: Enter the full address (this will be used for guest directions)
• Maximum Guests: Set the maximum number of guests your property can accommodate
• Bedrooms & Bathrooms: Specify the exact number of each
• Property Description: Write a compelling description highlighting unique features

Your property description is crucial for attracting guests. Follow these tips:

• Short Description: Write 2-3 sentences highlighting the best features
• Detailed Description: Include amenities, nearby attractions, and what makes your property unique
• Use Keywords: Include terms like "vacation rental," "family-friendly," "pet-friendly," etc.
• Local Attractions: Mention nearby beaches, mountains, restaurants, or activities

Professional photos are essential for attracting bookings:

• Hero Photo: Choose your best exterior shot or most impressive interior view
• Interior Shots: Include living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms
• Unique Features: Highlight special amenities like pools, hot tubs, or scenic views
• Photo Quality: Use high-resolution images with good lighting
• Photo Order: Arrange photos to tell a story of the guest experience

Configure your pricing strategy to maximize earnings:

• Base Price: Set your standard nightly rate
• Weekly Discounts: Set discounts for 7+ night stays
• Monthly Discounts: Set discounts for 28+ night stays

Help guests understand what to expect:

• Amenities: Check all available amenities (WiFi, parking, kitchen, etc.)
• House Rules: Set clear rules about smoking, pets, parties, and check-in/out times
• Cancellation Policy: Choose from flexible, moderate, or strict cancellation policies
• Check-in Instructions: Provide clear directions for guest arrival

Once your property is live, use these admin features to manage it:

• Bookings Tab: View and manage incoming guest bookings
• Payouts Tab: Track your earnings and payment transfers
